My Journey into
Handstands and Flexibility

You have come across the name Balancer’s Method now for at least a few times. But who stands behind it?

Miklós Tóth

founder of Balancer’s Method

As you saw on the opening page, I mainly cover or practice two fields of “movement”. Handstands and Flexibility in general.

the beginnings

I tried many sports in my life, starting with handball, which I played for 6 and a half years, then tried kayaking for a year, and went to fencing for another 2 years. Then, I found Street Workout, and the method to train for it, calisthenics in 2014 and doing it since.

I quit competing at street workout in 2018 after a shoulder injury, when my left shoulder popped out. When I went to the doctors, to my surprise, they advised me to quit sports that involve shoulder loads… I was in the middle of my university studies at that time, I had many anatomy courses and picked some more about training methods so no.

From Recovery to Reinvention

With my constantly expanding knowledge, I decided to try to heal my shoulder on my own. I tried several different methods and trainings to find the best one suitable for myself. And after a couple of months, my shoulder regained its health, its full range of motion and I was finally able to train like I did before. But that’s when everything changed.

I quit competing, and focused on handstands and flexibility training. I was like, if I could help myself, then if I can help just one person with the same problem I had, it’s already worth the try. I finished my University studies and started to get in touch with different mentors, coaches, artists to learn from them. I had the privilege of learning from the great Andrii Bondarenko, the famous handbalancer, Matt Smith, who is an expert in flexibility, and currently doing the Master Flexibility trainer course developed by the great Dan Van Zandt.

Unlocking Potential
with
Balancer’s Method

My goal is to help people around the world achieving their dream goals in handstands and in flexibility. Since then, I helped many people with shoulder injuries, hip and ankle imbalances, lower back pain, and in many cases. Seeing the spark in their eyes when they can finally do a movement without pain is the price that it’s worth doing it for.

I’ve came a long way in the past years, held many workshops, worked with many amazing people on their goals, and I always say, the best is yet to come, because in this field, I think there isn’t any “finish” line. You always have to educate and improve yourself, you will always meet new situations, new clients with new goals, so every day is a new challenge, a gift I’m thankful for. Also I share contents from not just flexibility and handstands, but from my lifestyle, how we eat, train, live and so on!

I'm grateful for your
attention and time!

I hope I can bring joy to your life and new informations about
flexibility and handstands that may help you out in some way!
